S91 MEP Initiated Court
(MIC) – Request
Purposes:
This
screen allows MIMS Users to request a court date fro a MEP initiated court
event, such as a default hearing.
- MIMS user must be an
authorized actor to update on this screen.
The following actors have the ability
to update:
· Administrative Assistants
· Compliance 5 Agent
· MEP Senior Management
· SIU Agent
· System Administrator
Helpful Hints:
- MIC = MEP Initiated Court
- Only MEP files are allowed; error shows if provisional file is selected.
- Requires minimum compliance level of 5.
- Requires an arrears balance greater than 0.
- File must have a QB order
- Court Code = Court Location
- Upon Clicking Request a work task is issued to the Administrative Assistant to get a court date set. Details about where and who are included in the work task.
Procedure:
1)
Select
Collection Tab.
2)
If
File number known click the Search à A child window opens up and
allows you to enter criteria to find the desired file. Link on the desired file in the results
screen and MEP file will auto populate the MEP File number on the Collection
Tool History Screen. Click Get to
pull up file details.
3)
If
File number is known enter in MEP File number, click Get to pull up file
details.
4)
Select
Initiate Collection Tool from left hand menu
5)
Link
on MIC à MEP Initiated Court screen

Select
the appropriate Court Event Type
7)
Select
the location where the Court Date should occur.
8)
Click
Request à Collection Tool History
screen displays with the MIC tool displayed as active

Using the drop down box, select the
appropriate type of court event. |

Enter any applicable remarks about the MEP
Initiated Court. Maximum characters = 200. |
